As a woman experiencing anxiety symptoms and the impact of past trauma, it's feeling real heavy and even difficult to enjoy what you used to. You are exhausted and overwhelmed. A life where you are able to be in the present moment, prioritize your own wellness, and feel more confident is within reach. 
I provide therapy services to support women with managing and decreasing anxiety, processing traumatic memories, and  breaking emotional eating patterns. I am glad you are here, ready to invest in your emotional and mental wellness.

About Melissa

I am glad you have taken this step in your therapy journey. Even though I may not know you yet, I know that you are worthy of this investment in yourself. 

​

I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2004, supporting youth, families, and caregivers in high-need settings. I began providing therapy in 2015, earned my Master’s degree in Psychology ,and became a Licensed Psychotherapist in California.  I have since worked across clinics and behavioral health programs with children, adults, and families. Today, I also provide mental health support to professional athletes and their families.

 

My specialties include trauma-informed care, including EMDR therapy, support with anxiety and emotional eating patterns.

In my personal life, I am a mom and know the struggle is real most days. I believe in practicing what I preach so I will never provide a treatment modality that I haven't done myself with my own therapist. I enjoy a good cup of coffee and beach trips the most!
